Welcome to Spring Creek Ranch Golf Club

Spring Creek Ranch has always been and will always be about the natural beauty of the land that boasts a unique golf course. The land was once a thriving ranch and almost all of its original terrain has been preserved in our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, with minimal earth movement. Whether the challenge of the double fairway on the third hole, or the meticulously manicured grounds around you, playing Spring Creek Ranch often grants a sense of profound satisfaction for those who enjoy golf.

When you visit Spring Creek Ranch, you no longer feel like you’re in Memphis, or the Mid-South for that matter. The solitude on our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course is unparalleled. You will not encounter power lines or hear trains. There are virtually no houses visible from the course. On some days you may never see another golfer throughout your round, but our staff is always ready to assist you no matter where you are or what you may need. From the moment you enter the gates through the end of your stay, you will find our service standard is unsurpassed.

Every detail has been attended to so you can focus on your game, your guests, or perhaps that special family evening. The beautiful James Cutler-designed Golf House has every amenity a golfer desires and perfectly complements our 1000-acre Audubon Conservation Reserve devoted to preserving the wetlands, wildlife habitat and surrounding ecosystems. Our membership is welcoming, offering an unexpected and uncontrived alternative to traditional country club atmospheres. The pristine practice facility is maintained to the same visual standards as our course, with Golf Digest Top-30 ranked instructor Rob Akins and his staff at the ready to help golfers achieve the most enjoyment from their game. Experience for yourself why Golf Digest rates Spring Creek Ranch the 170th ranked golf course in the nation.

It was on a trip in the great outdoors that Dr. David Meyer and Jack Nicklaus struck up a friendship that resulted in Jack coming out to see the piece of land known as Spring Creek Ranch. Mr. Nicklaus was impressed with Dr. Meyer’s vision of a golf experience founded on pure nature. Since Jack shared this passion for nature married with the challenge of golf, he enthusiastically agreed to make 350 of the 1,000 acre ranch one of the most coveted golf courses for hundreds of miles.

Dr. Meyer’s son, Robb, was handed the keys to this endeavor in early 1997 and within two years, Spring Creek Ranch Golf Club was created. From the very beginning, Golf Digest recognized the club as being the #2 “Best New Course” in the United States and the #2 “Best Course” in Tennessee (’99-’14). To members and guests, it became known as an unparalleled golf experience met with exceptional service. Robb Meyer continues to run the facility today, building a membership of over 350 of the city’s most elite individuals and another 75 from across the United States.

Recently receiving approval from the city, Robb has begun the next phase of Spring Creek Ranch, “The Retreat.” This project will consist of a cabin program, event center, day spa and residential development. Built with the same principles the golf club was established upon, “The Retreat” will soon become one of the area’s top destinations for special events and golf stays.
